Reimagined for a new era, the Frontera marks a bold return to the road, having first made its name between 1991 and 2004. Now back with a striking modern redesign, the Frontera is a confident, contemporary SUV that’s built for families, commutes and everything in between.
From first glance, the new Frontera makes a strong impression. Its rugged presence is shaped by Vauxhall’s latest ‘Bold and Pure’ design philosophy – including the signature black Vizor grille, sleek LED headlamps, and eye-catching alloy wheels. Whether you're heading into town or escaping to the countryside, this SUV looks the part.
Inside, it’s just as impressive. A clean, modern cabin offers practical comfort, with 460 litres of boot space – expanding to a generous 1,600 litres when the rear seats are folded. The flexible 60:40 split rear bench adds extra versatility, making space for whatever life throws your way.
Step inside the new Frontera and you’ll find a tech-focused interior built to enhance every journey. At its heart are two sharp 10-inch digital displays – one for infotainment, one for driving data – offering an intuitive and clutter-free experience.
While full safety specifications are yet to be announced, expect the latest driver assistance features and family-friendly safety tech found across the current Vauxhall range. Peace of mind comes as standard.
The Frontera gives you the freedom to choose how you drive. Opt for the efficient 1.2-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine, offering up to 130bhp, combined with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It delivers a strong balance of performance and economy, with a combined fuel efficiency of up to 49.6mpg and 0–62mph in 9.9 seconds.
Alternatively, go all-in on electric. The fully electric Frontera provides up to 257 miles of range (WLTP) on a single charge. Thanks to 100kW rapid charging, you can top up from 10–80% in around 30 minutes, getting you back on the road with minimal delay.
Both options deliver smooth handling and a refined ride, making the Frontera as enjoyable to drive as it is practical to own.
